What matches: Built the same way: water and dimethicone first, thickened into a cream by the same acrylamide/sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate copolymer, with phenyl trimethicone and dimethiconol for shine, isohexadecane, polysorbate 80, sorbitan oleate and panthenol, ten ingredients in common.

What it does worse: Oribe adds a light alkane, glycerin, rice and vegetable proteins, cranberry seed oil and a long list of plant extracts, and claims heat protection to 450°F; TIGI uses cyclopentasiloxane where Oribe has the alkane and finishes with a little mica for sheen.
