Is HerDupes legit?

HerDupes is a comparison site, not a store. You can't pay on this site and we never ask for card details. Every Buy button takes you to Amazon.com or to the store the button names, and that seller handles payment, shipping and returns. We may earn a commission from them; the price you pay is the same. HerDupes is an independent site run by one person from Monaco, with no beauty brand or retailer behind it.

We sell nothing ourselves: no beauty products, no handbags or fashion, no subscription. That is also why you won't find order reviews of us: no order is placed here. Automated site checkers score young domains low, and this one dates from September 2026. It is on no blacklist. What you can check is each comparison, which says what matches, what doesn't, and when its price was read.

How a dupe gets picked

A cheaper product is listed as a dupe when Amazon.com or its own brand sells it, it costs at least 40% less per ounce, and it matches the original on what does the work: the actives or the base for skincare and hair, format, finish and shade for makeup. Shade range, scent, packaging and wear time usually differ, and every comparison says where. The full rules, and what we turned down.

Where the prices come from

Where Amazon.com or the brand sells a product on Amazon, the price here is Amazon's own, read every 8 hours and printed with the time it was read. Where neither does, it is the brand's retail price, checked by hand on the date printed next to it. Both are used to work out the cost per ounce, so two different sizes can be compared honestly. What you pay is whatever Amazon shows at checkout.

How we make money

Amazon pays us a commission when you buy after following one of our links, and so do a few brands' own stores through the Awin network, on buttons that name the store. Brands cannot pay to be listed, to be called a dupe, or to rank higher, and commission rates are not a factor in any pairing. The full terms are on the affiliate disclosure page.
