Is Lacoste on Amazon real or fake?
Yes: Amazon.com sells it itself. Amazon.com is the seller on all 5 Lacoste products we track, not a marketplace seller, so the order comes out of Amazon's own stock.
Who sells each Lacoste product on Amazon
All 5 sold by Amazon.com.
Fake Lacoste vs real: what to check
- On Amazon the real thing comes from Amazon.com. The seller is the line under Add to Cart, not the name on the listing.
- From Amazon.com, the 5 Lacoste products we track cost $77 to $106 today, none of them marked down. The FTC warns that ads with big discounts on brand names can lead to a cheap fake or nothing at all: its alert.
How to check who sells Lacoste on Amazon
- Browsing from outside the US, set a US delivery address first; any ZIP will do, 10001 works. Without one Amazon fills the buy box with import and reseller offers. That is how Charlotte Tilbury, Dyson and Clinique once looked unstocked to us, when Amazon.com sold all three.
- Read the two lines beside Add to Cart, “Ships from” and “Sold by”. For Lacoste you want Amazon.com.
- If another name is there, open “Other sellers on Amazon”. Amazon.com or the brand sometimes sells the same listing one row down, at the same price or close to it.
